I had the honor this morning to capture the birth of a beautiful baby girl. She was a surprise, because no one knew for sure if J & J were expecting a boy or a girl! Mama J gave birth naturally at Birthways Family Birth Center here in Sarasota. She did a beautiful job – and here’s the proof! Look at this beautiful baby girl!
Congratulations to J, J, and their whole family. Your baby is truly a miracle and a beauty!

It’s the most important day of your baby’s life. Relish every moment of this beautiful journey.
Birth Photography is real. It’s powerful. It’s emotional. It’s a promise you’ll remember this miracle forever.
A birth in a hospital, at a birthing center, a homebirth, a c-section – no matter where or how you give birth, the memories of that day will be the most compelling and precious memories you’ll ever have, but they can get lost in the fog of labor and emotion. What did you look like as you saw your newborn for the first time? How did your baby look in the instant he was born? Who was in the room? Who smiled? Who cried? Never forget this day. Make sure your baby’s very first photo session is incredible.
I am looking for an expecting mom who is due in August (or soon after) and is interested in a complimentary birth photography session in exchange for permission to use some images for my birth photography portfolio and advertising. Of course, all client’s comfort levels and boundaries will be respected, and I wouldn’t share any images a client is not comfortable sharing.

Last week, I hosted a Beautiful Babies Mini Session event with the help of my amazingly awesome friend, Y. I spent the whole day getting to know and photograph five very beautiful babies ranging in ages from 6 – 9 months new. All in all, it was a very fun day. As always, all of the babies were photographed using only natural light, whether indoors using window light, or outdoors. I’m happy to say that every baby’s unique personality provided me with many different expressions and lots of beautiful images! Thank you for coming, moms & babies! Baby Boy E – 8 Months New
I’ve known baby E since before he was even born! I photographed his mom’s maternity session, and his newborn and 4 month sessions so far. Baby E was on my Belly to Baby plan, and now he is on my 4, 8, and 12 month Baby plan. Keep an eye out for baby E again in a few more months for his very first birthday portrait session! I cannot believe how quickly time flies.
I simply adore baby E, and how could I not? Look at this gorgeous little man!

Baby Boy N – 6 Months New
Baby N was a fun baby to photograph. He was all giggles and smiles! I feel that we really captured some great personality with this little man. Not to mention the fact that he is a little cutie! Take a look!

Baby Boy C – 7 Months New
Baby boy C was a baby of serious expressions. He is so precious, and I just adored his serious side. I love his soulful eyes, and I have a feeling he will grow up to be a little charmer! Take a look at this beautiful baby boy!

Baby Girl C – 9 Months New
Baby girl C is such a natural in front of the camera! I simply LOVED her calm and observant nature – she was simply content and pleased with everything! She seemed to really be enjoying herself – can you tell?

Baby Girl Z – 9 Months New
Last, but certainly not least, we have baby girl Z! Z was a mover! At 9 months, she is a very fast little girl who is steady on her feet! I have a feeling she will be walking in no time! Baby Z was full of expressions, though she made us work for smiles! Baby Z is a very cute little girl indeed – take a look!

Hello and welcome to the new blog of Lindsay Lee Photography! For those of you who may not know, I’ve recently upgraded to a fancy new website on a new and better and host! I must say, the move has been very positive for the most part, and I LOVE how easy it is for me to make changes to my new website – not to mention the fact that my new website is fabulous! (Really, check it out!) However, there is some bad news (take the good with the bad, right?): my old blog became lost in the transition process.
However, with a glass half full approach, I decided that this is the perfect opportunity for a fresh start! I’ve done a little bit of soul searching, and took some time to do some re-branding with Lindsay Lee Photography. The website is due for some changes in the near future as well!
So here we are, the new and improved Lindsay Lee Photography blog! I’d love to hear what you think, so feel free to browse around the blog, get a feel for the new look, and leave a comment or two!
