Happy Birthday, Orion (Mommy Loves You!) | Sarasota Baby Photographer

Someone pinch me, because I must be dreaming – My baby boy is ONE year old today! Wasn’t he just born, like, yesterday!? No matter how many times I see a baby grow up before my eyes, whether it’s my own baby or not, it never ceases to amaze me just how quickly these adorable little creatures blossom:).

All bittersweet feelings towards this beautiful milestone aside, (I wouldn’t have minded just one or two more cuddly, snuggly baby months…:), I am so happy for my little boy. He just recently started to walk, and it seems as if a whole new world of exploration has opened up for him! I admire his never-ending curiosity and enthusiasm for anything and everything. He keeps me on my toes, and I see things differently when I look at them through his pure and innocent eyes. Orion came into our lives as a healer. In short, he helped me realize that I am capable of so much more than I give myself credit for. He is the light of my life. I simply cannot picture my life without Orion in it. Happy happy birthday, my sweet sweet boy! ♥

Ali – 6 Days Fresh | Sarasota Newborn Baby Photographer

I wasn’t suppose to photograph baby Ali until the 22nd of this month, but she decided she wanted her birthday to be earlier, so I had the pleasure of photographing her a week early – on MY birthday! And let me tell you, I couldn’t have wished for a sweeter little model to snuggle with!:)

Welcome to the world, sweet Ali!:)

Getting Back Into the Swing of Things! | Sarasota Maternity, Newborn, & Baby Photographer

Happy New Year! Wow! It’s hard to believe how quickly 2011 came and went. Last year at this time, I was excitedly awaiting the arrival of my second child, and first boy. Now I am a mother of two beautiful children, and I am constantly on my toes watching over my littlest! He is a VERY curious little boy, and a magnet for getting into anything he shouldn’t be!:)As they say, “Boys will be boys!” I’m finding my two children to be a wonderful, extraordinary blessing, filled with lots of love and lots of laughs:).

Now that my baby boy is nearly 9 months old (how did that happen!?), I’m finding myself getting ready to get back into the swing of things, photography-wise. I plan on steadily preparing myself to take on my first client of 2012, and I’ll keep you updated as to when I am 100% ready to do so! I’m very excited! It’s hard to say if my pregnancy related back injury is better yet, but it definitely has improved enough to do photo shoots (yay!). I cannot wait until all the behind the scenes stuff is done and I am ready to meet my first client of 2012. Will it be you?:)

Lindsay - Hi Courtney! Congratulations!!! What exciting news! I would be honored to photograph your sweet little addition in April! I’m sure I’ll be up and running by then, but things have changed a lot with how I operate since our last session. Why don’t you e-mail me and we’ll chat? I’m so excited for you! :)

Amy Banfill - Hi Lindsay,
I emailed you on your contact page as well, but was not sure if you were back to checking it yet since it said you were still on maternity leave. If you back to working I’d love to get some info on having newborn shots done for our son who is due at the end of May. If you have time please email me,(I know how hard it is to find time with little ones around :-) )
Thanks, Amy

Extended Maternity Leave | Sarasota Baby & Child Photographer

I know that I had said earlier that I will be back to photograph the precious little ones in your life in July, but, as I’m sure we all know, things do not always go as planned. I am sad to say that I have a pregnancy related back injury. This injury is greatly limiting my ability to do even one photo shoot without being in extreme pain from all of the bending and lifting that a photo shoot requires. About the most I can do with photography at this point is to capture my own little ones as they grow, and even then, I have to very careful not to throw out my back. So, with my health as my top priority, I must extend my maternity leave until further notice. I can only hope that my back will heal soon, but only time will tell.

I am keeping my fingers crossed though, because photography is a great passion of mine, and I already miss interacting with and photographing precious new ones! In the mean time, I will try to update every now and then with portraits of my own little ones, and I will keep you updated as to when I am able to photograph your little ones again! Thank you so much for your patience and understanding during this time:).

{And because no post is complete without photographs, here are a few recent ones I have carefully captured of my little ones!}

Yup, He’s Mine! :) | Sarasota Newborn Photographer

The Lindsay Lee Photography has officially grown!!! Our precious baby boy was born on April 26, 2011 at 11:53pm, weighing 8 pounds, 11 ounces and 20 inches long. He is such a sweet, precious, and mellow baby boy, and we couldn’t be happier now that he is here! He, along with his big sister, fill my heart with such an incredible indescribable happiness! I am one proud and happy Momma to my two wonderful babies. Take a look at our newest little addition!:)

And my two babies together!:)

I’m enjoying every single minute with my two babies just being their mom:). I am still currently on maternity leave until further notice. I will make the announcement when I am available again to photograph a precious little one in your life. Thank you so much for your kindness, support, and understanding!:)
